“ Sandy's is located in cultural plaza. Their Hong Kong cafe style food is tasty. Service is great! Just wish the prices are a little lower. Some of my favorites are their salt and pepper port chop, baked pork chop, lemon tea and char siu (when they use pork belly). ”

“ Sandy's Cafe is my regular weekly go to for comfort food. My absolute favorite is their won ton mein. It's their delicious won tons made in-house that have a nice balance of pork and shrimp. Coupled with thin noodles and perfectly cooked won bok cabbage pieces make the dish so perfect. Of course, one cannot be without their signature garlic chili oil... that's the best ever! It's not too spicy and absolutely near drinkable! It pairs with anything and everything! My family also enjoys the duck which sells out if you don't go early. Their duck sauce is tasty! We've never had anything short of a great meal here. The service staff is so nice too which isn't usually expected in Chinese establishments. The ladies are always cheery, energetic and accommodating. ”

“ I came to Chinatown early in the morning, and this was the first place I chose for breakfast. I initially wanted the BBQ pork, but after they mentioned only having super lean cuts that day, I decided to try the roasted duck with vermicelli noodle soup and an iced lemon tea instead. So, I went for the roasted duck with vermicelli noodle soup and an iced lemon tea instead. Traveling overseas can be daunting, but stepping into this place felt comforting. It was a typical HK café, the service was great, spot was clean, and the food was delicious. There was lots of meat on the duck, plus some vegetables on the side. The cost was definitely higher than I expected. There wasn't a washroom available here, but there was one a short walk away, typically reserved for customers but open to the public that day due to a festival. ”

“ Sandy's Cafe is a MUST go place in Chinatown. If you like Fatty Char Siu and roasted duck, this is the place you have to go. I ordered fried chicken wing as an appetizer and it was DELICIOUS! It's very juicy and not overcooked. We also ordered the Yeung Chow Fried Rice and that's one of the best fried rice I've ever had in Hawaii. If you know what is called "WOK HEE", this fried rice will give you an answer what's that. Definitely highly recommend. Service was excellent and the restaurant looks very clean and bright. This is the best HK style "Cha Chan Tan" on Oahu. ”

“ During the Winter break I'm been eating good Chinese food . The other day Hong Kong noodle house and today Sandy Cafe . I heard their Char Siu and roast duck is one of the best on the Island . Picked up my sister and brother-in-law and we headed down to Sandy Cafe for lunch . Thanks to Paul C. my Yelp buddy he recommended Sandy Cafe has one of the best Char Siu . So I ordered the Char Siu over rice and their Char Siu was very good plus it was very lean. Some places their Char Siu is hard and burnt at the ends My sister ordered their cold ginger chicken and that was very good as well. Also the ginger sauce was unreal over a bed of rice . Very friendly service and efficient nice amount of tables in their dinning room . I highly recommend this place for good Char Siu, Duck, and Cold Ginger Chicken . Support local I'll be back and try something else Next time ”
